Who We Are
The mission of Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley is to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope and has a vision worldwide that everyone should have a decent place to live.
Locally established in 1986, Habitat has built more than 215 homes in the Roanoke Valley and provided financial education and counseling to the new homeowners.
What We Do
Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley enables home-ownership to families who would not be able to accomplish ownership through traditional avenues. Home-owner families apply, qualify and then partner with Habitat through sweat equity, training and mortgage payments.
We gratefully use volunteers on our construction sites and in our ReStore to accomplish our mission.
Check out our website www.habitat-roanoke.org to see how you can partner with Habitat.
