Our mission is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all, and energizing science to find a cure.

Komen Virginia Blue Ridge is the local source for funding programs that provide breast health services, breast cancer education and outreach in our county service area.

We empower the residents in our service area with information about the importance of early detection and breast health. We donate 75 percent of net funds raised to vital local breast health services, and dedicate the remaining 25 percent to national research to find the cures.

Since 2008, the Virginia Blue Ridge Affiliate has funded over $1.8 million in local programs and over$575,000 in breast cancer research.
