Center in the Square is providing volunteers (AGE 21+) for The Square Society MICROFESTIVUS event in downtown Roanoke on Saturday August 13. The proceeds of this event benefit Center in the Square. In addition, we earn a bonus for every volunteer we provide!

ASSIGNMENTS and SHIFTS: We have been asked to focus on filling the volunteer assignment “POUR BEER” during the final shift from 3:45 – 6 pm as finding volunteers for this shift is very difficult. PLEASE consider filling this shift if at all possible! You will also see other assignments and shifts available at the sign up website.
*Volunteers for the 3:45 – 6 pm shift may come down before their shift (any time between 12 noon and 3:30 pm) to experience the Microfestivus!*
SIGN UP: It is easy to sign up online to represent Center in the Square at this event.
- Go to: http://microfestivus.squaresociety.org/volunteers
- First, take a peek at the “volunteer rules and regulations”.
- Next click the ‘Pour Beer’tab (or the “Other tasks” tab is you do not want to pour beer)
- Then click the ‘Volunteer’ button under the shift you want (please consider 3:45 – 6 pm!)
- Complete the short form. VERY IMPORTANT! Select Center in the Square under the ‘Are you with an organization?’ question!! This is how we earn our bonus!
- Click the ‘Volunteer’ button at the bottom of the form to submit.
- VERY IMPORTANT! Respond to the confirmation email within 10 minutes or you will NOT be signed up!
*We rely very heavily on our volunteers for this event. Please be absolutely sure you can be there before signing up.*
Feel free to sign up with family, friends, or neighbors. You do not have to be an “official” Center in the Square volunteer to sign up to volunteer to support Center at this event. Please share with anyone you know who might be interested!
