Part of what makes CYP unique among other after school programs is we work to overcome barriers that may prevent students from attending our program.  Oftentimes these barriers include a family's lack of transportation.  Drivers help transport some students from program to their home.  Most students live within 2 miles of our site.  Drivers are needed Monday through Friday, and we ask that you commit to one consistent day a week.  Drivers must submit to a Motor Vehicle Records check through the DMV.

Technology Assistants - Volunteers assist students with computer based homework assignments and help staff monitor computer lab usage.  We are looking for someone to continue computer literacy lessons with our students one day a week.

Education Assistants - Volunteers research and create supplemental tutor activities for students based around the VA SOLs.
