Our Team Leader Application Process:
Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance is currently taking applications for Team Leaders (what we call Volunteers) in the Roanoke Valley of Roanoke, Virginia (U. S. A.), to help with our 2nd National Bullying Prevention Month event in October 2019. If you are open to becoming a Team Leader, please read the details below and apply.
The Role of Our Team Leaders:
Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Team Leaders from their respected communities work together as a whole to help establish and provide a safer place both online and offline bullying prevention communities, which include a Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Center.
Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Centers provide counseling services, educational bullying prevention workshops and seminars, a self-defense program, campaign speaking tours and events, and educational resources to raise awareness in the neighborhood / community the Team Leader resides. Our Team Leaders will serve as an influence and a go-to person for their community and the liaison to Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance.
The Responsibilities of Our Team Leaders:
Our responsible, qualified Team Leaders who work within the Alliance will help provide within their own communities the following:
1). Provide bullying prevention rights for their community,
2). Assist in the operation of Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Centers,
3). Provide a safe place of business at Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Centers, in which bullied victims are open to discuss their emotional trauma with qualified counselors,
4). Provide a safe place of business at Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Centers, in which bullied victims can learn self-defense,
5). Provide a safe place of business at Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Centers, in which bullied victims can meet new friends,
6). Lead bullying prevention campaigns to raise awareness and educate others on bullying with resources provided by The Alliance,
7). Lead, inspire, and provide a positive atmosphere for bullied victims and their families within their community,
8). Conduct campaigns, events, and activities within their community in which they reside,
9). Have the opportunity to create their own ideas for events and activities in Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Centers, provided that they are established as safe and preventive maintenance by The Alliance. They can also use the ideas provided by The Alliance.
