The Mentoring Youth in Virginia (MYVA) program promotes positive social engagement and supports educational and vocational advancement for refugee youth. Youth are matched with a mentor based on needs and goals for a period of 6-12 months. Mentors are required to meet with youth for a set number of hours per month for the duration of the mentorship.
