Family Service of Roanoke Valley is collecting toys for a brand new parenting group.
Please purchase new toys or donate very gently used toys. If possible, please purchase an entire kit to donate (see below). There will be eight families participating in the pilot group in early February.
A kit will be sent home with each family so they can practice the skills they learn in Play Therapy to connect and care for their child. These are for families who are at risk of being separated or who have been separated because of trauma, abuse, neglect--or for those who are experiencing another type of family disruption.
