Clean Valley Council

CVC is a non-profit organization that provides environmental, educational and outreach programs for the Roanoke Valley for 40 years. We reach youth and adults of all ages, providing free educational programming for all schools in our area. We encourage stewardship through education, promoting practices that protect our waterways, natural resources, and our lands. CVC’s programs and events advocate for litter prevention, recycling, waste reduction, stormwater pollution prevention and protecting our natural resources. We conduct two valley-wide litter cleanup events each year and are the “go to” resource for local recycling information.

The Clean Valley Council provides leadership for the Roanoke Valley through educational programming and citizen participation advocating litter prevention, recycling, storm water management, and sustainable use and conservation of our natural resources.
