The Roanoke Valley SPCA is proud to present Best in Show. Artists and pet lovers, of all ages and abilities, are invited to create artwork in any medium for this competition. The images can be of pets or animal friends and sculpture is also welcome. Best in Show will be chosen by guest judges and various event sponsors. The artwork will be exhibited Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Charter Hall, on the 3rd floor of the Market Building. Images of the art will also be hosted on this event site and available for purchase at the reception, show, as well as sold online.
VIP Preview tickets can be purchased in advance here for $20 for adults and $15 for youth. VIP Preview tickets provide early viewing entry to the show as well as expanded reception and drinks, including one drink ticket for 21+ attendees at the bar. VIP Preview tickets will not be sold at the door.
Advanced Admission Reception and Show tickets are $10.00 but children 12 and under are $5.00. Advanced tickets can be purchased here on this site, at any point, including the day of the show. Tickets sold at the door will be $15 for adults and $10 for youth.
All artwork will be for sale, with at least 50% of the purchase price donated to the Roanoke Valley SPCA by the artists. In addition to traditional artwork, a variety of art medium such as sculptures and other designs will be displayed. All pieces will also be available for viewing and purchase via this website. Viewing will begin approximately one week before the opening reception and sales will go live at 6pm on April 25th.
