Would you like to volunteer and support our mission of "Helping Kids Grow!"? You can do so by volunteering with us to clear our trails and assist woith other landscaping needs to help us prepare for summer camp and our visitors!
Apple Ridge Farm, located in Copper Hill, VA, has over 5 miles of hiking trails and two gardens. As a part of our summer camp and outdoor adventure programming, we use these trails and gardens to teach our students and campers about environmental education, as well as health and wellness. These trails are also open to the public to enjoy!
We also need volunteers to assist with distributing and placing mulch around our team challenge low ropes course elements. Our summer camps and visitors use the team challenge low ropes courses to learn and practice communication, self-confidence, and teambuilding skills!
We invite groups and teams to sign up to help us clear our trails and weed the gardens. Tasks may include walking the trails to pick up large sticks, tree branches, fall trees/logs, or any other trip hazards; weeding the gardens; and distributing mulch.
