Help motivated and enthusiastic refugees/immigrants learn English in their new community by being an ESOL (English as a Second Language Instructor). Teach class online or in-person with ample support from Blue Ridge Literacy Staff. Your desire to help someone achieve their literacy goals is all it takes to get started--we give you the rest with a one-time Volunteer Training designed to introduce you to the populations we serve and the materials and strategies found most effective when working with adults.
