Like to stay busy? Become a Hospice Office Volunteer!

Volunteers are the heart of our hospice. They provide practical and emotional support to terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers also assist in preparing mailings or other clerical tasks. Each Friday, volunteers contact families on our service to insure all their needs are met over the weekend. Our volunteer training provides information about the many aspects of the dying process and the various ways to assist the dying through their end of life journey. Many of our graduates find the training itself a transforming experience. There is no obligation to volunteer upon completion of the training. Volunteer with hospice and expect to receive a gift of great value!
