Come get your hands dirty and experience the power of community working together! Volunteers are needed for Restoration Housing’s 4th Annual Community Partnership Day presented by Freedom First Credit Union. This event brings members of our community together to beautify properties under the management of Restoration Housing, a nonprofit organization creating dignified rental housing and community resources for limited-income families through the rehabilitation and preservation of neglected architectural resources.
This year will focus on Restoration Housing’s third project and future satellite center for the Boys & Girls Club of SWVA, Villa Heights. Work will include clearing brush and debris, cleaning playground equipment, prepping flowerbeds, installing plants, and mulching. Plan to BYOGT – bring your own gloves and trowel! All other tools, refreshments, and Restoration Housing Community Partnership Day T-Shirt will be provided.
