Veteran Volunteers needed to honor fellow Veteran Patients and their families. Veterans build a special bond with fellow veterans. Carilion Clinic Hospice NRV is a participate in the We Honor Veterans Program. We also Partner with Department of Defense with the Vietnam War Commemoration.
Some may ask why we would need Veteran Volunteers the reason is one in four hospice patients is a Veteran. At times we have seen one in three. It is a great honor to participate in this program.
